Immunopharmacology Comments
SIRT1 modulates NF-κB-dependent transcription by interacting with and deacetylating the active subunit of NF-κB (RelA/p65) at lysine 310, leading to its deactivation [2]. Activation of SIRT1 thereby produces an anti-inflammatory effect.
