‘Activation’ and ‘deactivation’ with voltage steps appear to be instantaneous. Displays time-dependent inactivation at depolarized potentials [2]. The rat variant has been reported to be widely expressed (including brain, lung, kidney, liver, spleen, heart, oesophagus, stomach, colon, skeletal muscle).
