Comment PDIA3 is a multifunctional enzyme that catalyses formation of disulfide bonds and regulates thiol groups on target proteins through disulfide isomerase and thiol-oxidoreductase activities respectively [2,4]. It facilitates folding of newly synthesised glycoproteins in the endoplasmic reticulum in association with the lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin. Abberant expression has been detected in cancers and downregulation/inhibition has antitumour effects [1,5,8-9].
