Bioactivity Comments
Inhibits HIV-1 protease with a Ki of 2nM [2]. Nelfinavir rescues SARS-CoV-2 infected Vero-E6 cells from death with an IC50 of around 3 μM in a plaque assay [1]. In this in vitro study a nelfinavir-amodiaquine combination was effective against all seven of the SARS-CoV-2 strains that were tetsted.
