Cisplatin acts in several ways to interfere with DNA/RNA synthesis and replication and cell division, and to cause DNA mutation and damage, all of which lead to cell death/apoptosis. Due to the complex and varied nature of nucleic acids we do not include DNA or RNA as targets on this database.
