Bioactivity Comments |
Rodent studies show that rufinamide (1μM) significantly slows sodium channel recovery from inactivation in cultured cortical neurons from immature rats and that the drug limits sustained repetitive firing of sodium-dependent action potentials, with an EC50 of 3.8μM [1]. However, we have been unable to find publicly available bioactivity data for this drug at its proposed human molecular target(s) to substantiate its MMOA, and have therefore not tagged a primary drug target. |
