Bioactivity Comments
Verdiperstat is 14 times more selective for MPO over the related thyroid peroxidase (TPO) [1]. Radiolabelled verdiperstat (AZD3241) exhibits adequate brain exposure in PET studies in cynomolgus monkey, indicating CNS penetrance and suitability for CNS indications [2].
