Bioactivity Comments
The interaction table below provides data from an evaluation of the antimalarial (asexual blood stage) activity of AN3661, using a panel of culture-adapted P. falciparum strains, with no evidence of reduced potency against drug resistant strains being observed. In addition, AN3661 is reported to have potent activity against Ugandan field isolates (mean ex vivo IC50 64nM), and murine P. berghei (day 4 ED90 0.34mgkg-1) and P. falciparum (day 4 ED90 0.57mgkg-1) infections [1].
