Comment: C5apep is a modified C-terminal fragment of C5a [1]. This construct behaves as full agonist for Gαi coupling (cAMP response) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2) phosphorylation, but is a partial agonist for β-arrestin recruitment and receptor endocytosis.
