Target Id 3195
Nomenclature clusterin
Previous and unofficial names APOJ | apolipoprotein J | complement lysis inhibitor, SP-40,40 | sulfated glycoprotein 2; SGP-2
Genes CLU (Hs), Clu (Mm), Clu (Rn)
Ensembl ID ENSG00000120885 (Hs), ENSMUSG00000022037 (Mm), ENSRNOG00000016460 (Rn)
UniProtKB AC P10909 (Hs), Q06890 (Mm), P05371 (Rn)
Antibodies
sotevtamab (Binding) pKd 8.4 [1]
Comment Clusterin inhibits complement-mediated cytolysis, by preventing binding of C5b-C7 complexes to the membrane of the target cells. Anti-clusterin antibodies are in development as immunomodulators with antineoplastic potential.
