Bioactivity Comments
We have been unable to find quantitative data for the antibacterial activity of this drug. At mammalian targets, 10 μM methenamine hippurate inhibits sodium fluorescein uptake via hamster OATP1B1 in transfected CHO cells by 93% [1].
