Bioactivity Comments
Norfloxacin has potent activity against most Enterobacteriaceae (MIC90 0.25 μg/ml), Haemophilus influenzae (MIC90 0.12 μg/ml) and Neisseria gonorrhoeae (MIC90 0.016 μg/ml). The drug is less active against Staphylococci (MIC90 2 μg/ml) and Streptococci (MIC90 4 μg/ml) [4].
