Bioactivity Comments
Telacebec has narrow-spectrum antibacterial activity that is specifically against Mycobacterium tuberculosis [3]. The MIC50 for in vitro antimycobacterial activity is 2.7 nM against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv and the MIC90 is 0.43-28 nM against a panel of multidrug-resistant (MDR) and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) M. tuberculosis clinical isolates [3]. Telacebec has been shown to have synergistic activity when combined with PBTZ169 [2].
