Although MAT-POS-e194df51-1 has demonstrated antiviral efficacy in cell lines, its pharmacokinetics do not support therapeutic development (for example, MAT-POS-e194df51-1's half-life in mouse is only 1.4h).

Bioactivity Comments
MAT-POS-e194df51-1 exhibits antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 in A549-ACE2-TMPRSS2 cells (EC50 64 nM) and in HeLa-ACE2 cells EC50 126 nM), with little cytotoxicity [1]. MAT-POS-e194df51-1 was cross-reactive against Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Omicron SARS-CoV-2 variants.
