Summary of Clinical Use Click here for help
Moxifloxacin (as hydrochloride) can be administered orally, topically or intravenously. It is indicated for the treatment of community acquired pneumonia (CAP) and complicated skin and skin structure infections (cSSSI) in the UK, when it is inappropriate to use first-line antibacterials. An eye drop formulation is used to treat purulent bacterial conjunctivitis.
