Summary of Clinical Use Click here for help
Diclofenamide was originally approved for the treatment of glaucoma [1], but use for this indication was subsequently discontinued. In August 2015, the US FDA granted marketing approval for the treatment of primary hyperkalemic and hypokalemic periodic paralysis. These conditions are two of the more common periodic paralyses, which are a group of rare hereditary disorders that cause episodes of muscle weakness or paralysis.
