Nifuroxazide has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Staphylococci and many Enterobacteriaceae. The MIC90 to inhibit growth of Klebsiella pneumoniae in vitro is 0.98 μg/ml [2].
