GtoPdb Ligand ID: 14474

Synonyms: IL-17D
Immunopharmacology Ligand
Comment: IL-17D is expressed in skeletal muscle, heart, and adipose tissue. In endothelial cells it induces expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, IL-8 (CXCL8) and GM-CSF (CSF2) via the NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways. A functional receptor for IL-17D is proposed to be CD93 (UniProt entry Q8TAD2; CD93) [1-3].
Species: Human
