Synonyms: AKCEA-APO(a)-LRx | Ionis-apo(a)-lrx | ISIS 681257 | ISIS-681257 | TQJ-230 | TQJ230
Compound class: Nucleic acid
Comment: Pelacarsen (TQJ230) is an apolipoprotein A (Lp(a)) synthesis reducer. It is a liver-targeted (GalNAc3-conjugated) antisense oligonucleotide that was designed to lower genetically elevated Lp(a) as a mechanism to reduce atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease risk [1-2,4-5].
We have been unable to locate a full chemical SMILES for the drug, or its HELM notation. We provide the basic nucleic acid structure for the molecule here. Full specifications for all modifications are available from its INN record.
