Comment: Cdk5i is a 12 amino acid peptide that corresponds to 148-159 of the T-loop of CDK5. It was designed to prevent formation of the pathological CDK5/p25 complex, in which the truncated p25 isoform of p35 (CDK5R1) acts to hyperactivate CDK5 [1].
