General Comments |
ADGRG4 (formerly GPR112) is an orphan receptor belonging to Family VIII Adhesion-GPCRs together with ADGRG1-3 and ADGRG5-7 [2]. ADGRG4 was found to contain a laminin_G/pentraxin (PTX) domain along with the GPS motif. The original gene prediction [3] failed to predict the first and last coding exons. There are five well characterised amino acid-changing SNPs as well as a number of reported amino acid-changing SNPs which are not confirmed. Mouse RefSeq NM_001033327.1 is based on cDNAs which cover only the last 5 exons. |
