Metopimazine (Vogalene®) is a dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, and is an established antiemetic for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting. This drug is not approved by the EMA or FDA, but is an active ingredient in medicines approved by individual national regulatory agencies (Vogalib® in France and Vogaline® in Egypt).
