Comment: Bacoside A3 is a bioactive phytochemical isolated from Bacopa monnieri (Brahmi). It is a major compoment of the extract mixture known as bacoside A. Bacoside-containing herbal remedies have proposed neuroprotective (antioxidant) actions [ 1-3], and antimicrobial, anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, antitumour and antiemetic effects.
