Summary of Clinical Use Click here for help
Flumequine was marketed in a number of European countries including France, Italy and Switzerland and indicated for the treatment of urinary tract infections. In 2018, the EMA issued restrictive guidelines on the systemic use of fluoroquinolone containing medicines and suspended the marketing authorisation of flumequine [1]. It now seems to be used primarily in veterinary medicine [3].
