Bioactivity Comments
In vitro, sevasemten (EDG-5506) completely inhibits rabbit fast myofibril ATPase (IC50 200 nM) but is inactive against cardiac and slow bovine masseter skeletal myofibrils [2]. In vivo, EDG-5506 decreases muscle damage biomarkers and fibrosis, and increases muscle strength in animal models of Duchenne muscular dystrophy .
