Bioactivity Comments
The in vitro antibacterial activity of KP-736 has been evaluted against a panel of clinical isolates and found to be particularly potent against Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas spp. [1].
KP-736 inhibits Pseudomonas aeruginosa NCTC 10490 penicillin-binding protein 1A (PBP1a) with an IC50 of 0.058 μg/ml and PBP3 with an IC50 of 0.081 μg/ml [1].
