Mechanism Of Action and Pharmacodynamic Effects Click here for help
D13-9001 has potent activity against the resistance-nodulation-division (RND) family of efflux pumps, found principally in Gram-negative bacteria. Studies have shown it binds to AcrB, the inner membrane component of the AcrAB-TolC efflux pump of Enterobacteriaceae and to the homologous MexB component of MexAB-OprM in Pseudomonas aeruginosa [1,3].
