Remodelin corrects nuclear shape defects of laminopathic cells (human lamin A/C-depleted cells and cells derived from patients with Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome) [1]. It is postulated that this remodelin effect occurs via NAT10-induced microtubule reorganisation. Remodelin represenrts a novel strategy for correcting the nuclear abnormalities associated with laminopathies and aging.
