Immunopharmacology Comments |
CXCL14 participates in regulation of immune cell migration and antimicrobial immunity. Expression is inducible in monocytes, B cells, monocyte-derived immature dendritic cells and THP-1 leukemia cells. CXCL14 may play a role in immune surveillance in the skin, and have may antiangiogenic action on cancer cells. Some evidence suggests that it is an endogenous inhibitor of the CXCL12/CXCR4 signalling axis, and this effect can inhibit CXCL12-mediated chemotaxis of CD34+ hematopoietic progenitor cells.[2]. CXCL14 function is reviewed in [1]. |
