Bioactivity Comments
The MIC for in vitro antimycobacterial activity is 11.1 nM against drug-sensitive Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv and <223 nM against a panel of multidrug-resistant (MDR) M. tuberculosis clinical isolates [2]. TB47 has been shown to have synergistic activity when combined with other antimycobacterial drugs, including clofazimine [3-4] or pyrazinamide and rifampicin [1].
