Summary of Clinical Use ![]() |
Used to treat estrogen receptor +ve breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Use in premenopausal women (with esstrogen-responsive cancer) is effective if ovarian function is concomittantly suppressed, and this combined therapy is more effective than treatment with tamoxifen plus ovarian suppression [2]. |
