Mechanism Of Action and Pharmacodynamic Effects ![]() |
Ethacrynic acid inhibits ion transport via the kidney-specific Na-K-Cl symporter (SLC12A1). These transporters are located in the ascending loop of Henle and their inhibition results in increased water excretion. |
