Bioactivity Comments
Clamikalant is a more potent inhibitor of KATPs in cardiac muscle cells compared to those found in pancreatic beta-cells or in the coronary vascular system. It inhibits currents via human SUR2A/Kir6.2 channel with an IC50 of 4300 nM [1].
