Comment: Depatuxizumab mafodotin (ABT-414) is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), which targets a unique tumour-specific EGFR epitope in some cancer cells [5]. The antibody portion recognises EGFR in glioblastoma cells with EGFR gene amplification or expressing the truncated Δ2-7 EGFR mutant (aka EGFRvIII) [2-3].
