Comment: Calcipotriol is a synthetic analogue of vitamin D, and acts as an agonist at the vitamin D receptor.

Summary of Clinical Use |
Calcipotriol is used as a topical therapy to treat adults with plaque psoriasis, usually in combination with an anti-inflammatory agent such as a steroid, e.g. 0.005% calcipotriol + 0.064% betamethasone (Wynzora®). |
