Mechanism Of Action and Pharmacodynamic Effects Click here for help
Agonism of β-adrenoceptors, leads to stimulation of intracellular adenyl cyclase, and increased levels of cyclic AMP. This results in relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle and the inhibition of hypersensitivity mediator release from mast cells.
