GtoPdb Ligand ID: 12194

Compound class: Synthetic organic
Comment: Compound 56 is a novel modulator of the necroptosis executor protein, mixed lineage kinase domain-like protein (MLKL) [1]. In vitro 56 partially inibits MLKL oligomerization, and reduces translocation of MLKL to the membrane. These two effects are predicted to inhibit the necroptosis pathway.
