Comment: Danaparoid sodium is an anticoagulant that works by inhibiting activated factor X. It is no longer marketed in the US but is still available in other countries. As this drug is a mixture of components (heparan sulfate, dermatan sulfate, and chondroitin sulfate) we are unable to give structural information.
