Immunopharmacology Comments
HSP90AB1 chaperones both JAK2 and PRKCE, and by ensuring proper folding of these kinase proteins it is involved in the phosphorylation/activation of STAT1 [1]. This tangential function in JAK/STAT signalling indicates a potential role for HSP90AB1 in inflammation and the immune response.
