GtoPdb Ligand ID: 10412

Synonyms: RSLV132
Immunopharmacology Ligand
Comment: RSLV-132 is a fully human biologic fusion protein that is comprised of human RNase fused to the Fc domain of human IgG1 [1]. The peptide sequence of RSLV-132 has not yet been formally disclosed.
Immunopharmacology Comments
RSLV-132 was designed to breakdown extracellular RNA that circulates in the blood of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus [1], and which is associated with pathogenesis in this condition [2-3]. Decreasing blood-bourne RNA is expected to reduce activation of the B cell receptor/Toll-like receptor 7 pathway to bring about a reduction in inflammatory cytokine production.
